Shaping global mindsets through intentional event design
Client Insulet
Project Athina 26. Insulet’s 2026 global Kick-Off leadership event, hosted in Athens.
Real-World Impact
Insulet’s work supports hundreds of thousands of people living with diabetes worldwide. Their technology gives people greater freedom in managing a chronic condition.
When a company reaches market leadership in a sector like this, the responsibility shifts. The focus moves from catching up to leading with clarity and consistency.
Leadership at that scale carries its own responsibility — to set direction for the organisation and the wider sector.
Athina 26 was designed to help align that leadership.
A Global Gathering
Insulet had recently become market leader in insulin delivery systems.
Each year the company brings senior leadership together for its global Kick-Off meeting. The location changes annually, with the identity reflecting the host city.
In 2026 the event took place in Athens under the banner Athina 26, bringing together 350 leaders from nine regions.
Message First
With leaders arriving from across the organisation, the work began with messaging.
Working closely with the leadership team, we defined the core principles that would guide the year ahead. These pillars shaped keynote themes, presentation structure and the wider narrative of the event.
The goal was clarity and consistency across every touchpoint.
Visual Language
The venue itself featured extensive marble architecture, which became an opportunity rather than a constraint.
Marble-inspired textures were paired with Insulet’s established brand colours to create an identity grounded in its surroundings while remaining unmistakably Insulet.
A restrained interpretation of Greek typography connected the identity to its location without overwhelming the corporate brand.
Across the Event
The system was applied across the full event experience, including pre-event communications, keynote presentations, motion content and large-format graphics across the stage and venue.
I also supported venue scoping and on-site delivery, ensuring the system adapted as content evolved.
Working Together
Athina 26 created a cohesive environment where messaging and visual identity supported one another.
Senior stakeholders described the system as foundational to the meeting, helping align teams and reinforce the direction of the year ahead.
“The place looked great, and your visuals were the bedrock we built the whole meeting on. You’ve made a massive difference.”
